Exclamation Noob`s howto 1.2.15

  1. Download the latest source code and Compile or simply download pre-compiled binaries for each operating system you plan to use. (Linux/FreeBSD)
  2. You now need to initialize your binaries for these operating systems, using a private server. (See also: BinaryInitialization)
    1. Upload your pack.cfg file to the server. (If this server is not private, by uploading your pack.cfg file you run the risk of having your net easily hacked. You've been warned.)
    2. Initialize the binary with: ./wraith -q pack.cfg
    3. Download the binary from the server and save to your computer or to a website.
1.2.15 NEEDS this PackConfig: http://tinyurl.com/5ckzqp

Read Bryans site, find the download link and do this...

You will need a PackConfig for your botnet, along with generated Salts. Fill out the text from PackConfig and save into a pack.cfg file. Be sure to remove all of the '<' and '>' characters.

unpack your shit,

./configure

make

./wraith -q pack.cfg

rm -rf pack.cfg (make copy to your computer before you do this..)
mkdir bots
mkdir hub

copy the binary to both dirs (bots and hub dir)

go to hub dir and ./wraith -C
enter your password from the pack.cfg "plaintext-pass"

add the hub at the bottom as you did in pack.cfg

hub ip port (ip should be the ip of the box/server the hub is hosted on, after that save. then do the command ./wraith
then you should be seeing this message -- botnick initiated --

then cd to the bots dir, ./wraith -C
enter pass as before

at the bottom you add leafs

nick ip
nick * vhost
nick * +ipv6vhost
nick * * ipv6ip here

those are your options, if you have vhosts that works (ipv4) on that box, just "nick * vhost". if its ipv6vhost its "nick * +vhost"
and if its ipv6 ip its "nick * * ipv6iphere" dont add the "" thats just to mark what you should type!

when you have added 2-3 bots save and ./wraith (adding more bots will make your binary unstable, its not reccomended to add more then 3-4 bots pr binary (pr shell account)

then telnet to your hub, and enter your nick then your password not the plaintext one,

* SHELLHASH: 32 char md5 hash used for binary password before it was hashed... as listed inside pack.cfg

and type .newleaf nick (first nick in the bots binary, you dont need to add more, tho the hub does it itself)

your leafs should be online any minute now,

now you .+chan #channelname in the telnet to hub and watch if they come to that channel...

you should be all set to go...

OBS OBS: there has been Changes to it. please read more on http://wraith.botpack.net

*MORE WILL BE ADDED*
